Laravel Developer

We are looking for a Laravel Developer to join our team, bringing with them a drive for quality coding and a passion for crafting seamless web applications. In this role, you’ll dive deep into the Laravel framework, enhancing our products and services with your clean, efficient code. Your contribution will directly influence the backbone of our business, ensuring a dynamic and responsive experience for our users.

What you will do:

• Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications using the Laravel framework.
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript are valid and consistent across applications.
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API.
• Lead the entire web application development lifecycle right from the concept stage to delivery and post-launch support.
• Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
• Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality.
• Interface with customer and internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions.
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Laravel Developer.
• Demonstrable experience with PHP including OOP, security, refactoring, and design patterns.
• Excellent knowledge of the Laravel framework and experience with its ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of SQL/MySQL databases and their declarative query languages.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React is a plus.
• Familiarity with software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat).
• Knowledge of web server exploitation (e.g., Nginx, Apache).
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and web development best practices.
• Ability to work in a team and independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in web development or design are advantageous.
• Examples of past work, and portfolios will be great.
