DevOps
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team, where your expertise will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations. With your help, we aim to accelerate our deployment cycles, enhance our operational efficiency, and implement scalable solutions. Your role is pivotal in automating our processes, ensuring infrastructure reliability, and enabling our team to deliver high-quality software at a faster pace.
What you will do:
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Design and maintain scalable, automated cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure the security and efficiency of our development and production environments.
- Develop and improve operational practices and procedures, including automated scripts for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate new deployment processes and strategies to meet our business needs.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize server performance for an optimal CI/CD pipeline.
- Participate in the creation of system backups and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate on the automation of setup and maintenance processes.
- Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company advance.
Requirements:
- Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Proficient with git and git workflows.
- Good knowledge of Ruby or Python and known DevOps tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with automation software (e.g., Puppet, CFEngine, Chef).
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl, and/or Ruby).
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required).
- Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus, too).
- Understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are highly beneficial.
